Less than a mile awayThe centre of coin production in Canada, the historic Royal Canadian Mint on Sussex Drive has been striking Canada's coins since 1908. Take a tour of the mint where you can hold a bar of gold, then learn about how it gets transformed into intricate metalwork - including a Million Dollar Coin, no less. Tours run regularly from 10am to 5pm (spaces can be reserved in advance).
