The annual nocturnal Beltane Fire Festival marks the coming of spring to Edinburgh with the May Queen, the Green Man, and acrobatics, music and a fire-filled night-time procession across Calton Hill. Although the event is ticketed and very popular, limited tickets can be available on the day from Ticket Scotland on Rose Street from 9am. Gates open at 8pm and festivities run until 1am.
